be careful with car rental doyouspain.com

i used doyouspain.com three times now to book a car. first time, i booked a car in mallorca, second time in greece (crete) and both time i got a very cheap price and everything worked as promised.

this time i booked a car for montenegro. as i didnt know the exact arrival time at the airport when i booked, i just choosed 10:00 am, as i thought, it doesnt matter, car is reservated than for the day, and it was already payed. when i arrived in montenegro arround 14:00 they told me, that the booking was cancelled because i didnt pick up the car within two hours after 10:00. money could not be refunded, they said. indeed its written in the document that you recieve AFTER booking and payment. i had no chance to read this before! ….so this is a very dubious behavier!

anyways, i thought, i got a super cheap car the first time, so just book a new car with them, and its fine. when i wanted to pick up the second car, the company wanted to charge me for insurance, although i already choosed a insurance at the booking. they wanted to have something about 200€ additionally to the money i payed alreday only for the insurance. without a propper credit card (i just had a debit card) it would be even more. also this behavier is very dubious and it was not like this in greece, and also not in mallocra. also this was nowhere written before booking and payment. also this time they said they couldnt refund the money because i would have called to late (i called immediatly after they told me at the counter that they would not give me a car without insurance)

so, at the end, i am not super mad on them, because in total, i saved still lots of money, but its not fair to behave like this. i wrote mails, but they dont care.

well, next time i will think twice, be warned!
