Since some month we can see on all new installations of Windows 7, that it will not install any update. The searchprocess does not complete or does not find anything, but searches endless.
…and for the people, that search in german: Seit einigen Monaten können wir bei allen Neuinstallationen von Windows 7 beobachten, dass dort keine Updates mehr installiert werden können. Der Prozess sucht ewig nach Updates und findet aber nie welche. Folgende Anleitung schafft Abhilfe!
After many hours of research and testing i found finally a working solution, which i wanna share with you.
First, go to the Update-Settings and put it on „Never“, then reboot.
Download and install the following updates in the following order:
KB3078601
KB3205394
KB3020369
KB3172605
KB3177467
KB3087039
KB3038314
KB3102810
KB3145739
KB3168965
If you stuck somewhere, reboot and go on…
After all this, change the settings back to „automatic“ and install the other updates that the Windows Update Process will find now! You are done!
Let me mention, that microsoft have a lot of nerves because they can’t fix this….we’ve seen the same shit at Windows XP some years ago… now again in 7… i am sure, it’ll be just aa matter of time until that’ll happen in 8 or 10 again …shame on you, microsoft!
